100 Most Creative Business Cards

I’m a big fan of business cards as a physical take away. They have proven to be one of the only ways that I remember someone’s name after a conference. I’m a very sensual person (get those dirty thoughts out of your head…) and I tend to remember things I smell and feel. This is also called kinesthetic. A large portion of creative people are kinesthetics. So, if you want a creative person to remember you give them something to feel! (you’re bad! stop it!) ;)

You can invoke feeling with the texture of your business card, the feeling of “wow!” with a creative design to it & make sure you follow it up with matching website design. Ie, if you have a wood texture to your card, you should have the same wood background texture to your website design.

Here are some of my favorites in no particular order…(lie)…i just looked and it appears that most of my favorites of are clumped in one place. I’ll let you guess which ones they are. The winner(s) get a shout out and virtual high five on twitter.

Those are some pretty awesome business cards. Are those wooden ones made of recycled wood? The rubber ‘personal trainer’ one is a bit quirky – you’ll need to perform some acrobatic stunts to stretch it, see the phone number, balance the phone against one ear while stretching the card & dialling simultaneously! :-)

I just love these! Some of them are really clever – I do like the personal trainer “card” but Keith is right: it would be tough to read it and dial a phone at the same time.

A little funny goes a long way in my book, i.e. “Head Designer/Extremely Handsome.”

Very cool post.

Thanks, Bre and Keith! I gotta agree with you both. Some of these are not the most functional. But WHO CARES! The most functional cards are often forgotten immediately. Even the trainer one would make me remember him. And I’m not above using my toes! ;)

Thanks for sharing…these are all amazing! Loved comb, Armin Rosu, Divorce Lawyer, Bird in a Cage, and most of all the Word Search card. Brilliant!

Nice. I love them all. I don’t know how effective Bcards are today as a marketing tool. It is a little bit like twitter. You may have it, and it may cost you time and money, but in the end, you may not break even on the investment. But they are fun, none-the-less.
